eFolder Account Setup

Process:

  1. Log into https://backup.securewebportal.net
  2. Hover over the “Support” menu at the top of the screen and select “Download Software”.
  3. Select 64-bit, check mark that you agree, and click “Download”.
  4. The download can now be run and installed. Find the download in your downloads folder and install it with default settings.
  5. Locate the program, “AIS Backup” in your start menu.
  6. Enter the username and password from the My Account page.
  7. Click “Test Connection”. You should receive a “Connection Verified” notice.
  8. Next you will need to Create Pass Phrase for encryption. Click the button and create a pass phrase over 120 bits.
  9. Click “OK”.
  10. The next prompt will ask you if you want to print your phrase. Select “No”.
    • Note: Save the Pass Phrase via some other method.
  11. On the next screen, set up your custom security questions for account recovery.
  12. Click “OK.”
  13. From the next screen, you can choose to Copy to the Clipboard to copy your security questions and answers so you can save them.
  14. Click Proceed.
  15. The next prompt will ask if you want to save the pass phrase to a text file. You can choose to save if you would like.
  16. The application does warn that if you save it on non-removable, it is not recommended. Click “No”.
  17. You know you’ve completed the setup successfully by the results on the My Account page where you started. You should see “Success”.
