Checking Barracuda Functionality

  1. Login to the unit, typically the login is the IP address port 8000.
  2. Make sure there are no errors at the top of the page after login:

  1. Also check that there are no raid errors and that the last archived date is today:

  1. Check that firmware is up to date:

  1. Click “Advanced”
  2. Go to “Firmware Update”
  3. Make sure the currently installed version matches the Latest General Release.
  4. If it doesn’t, download and install it (this will restart the Archiver), do not go to the latest early release unless at the instruction of barracuda support.
  5. If you see this message pop up when trying to update firmware, you can usually ignore it unless you use the outlook Add-in and Mobile Application:
